Should do. The USB part of Expresscard is just a USB port hooked up to the same Southbridge USB controller as the rest of your machine's USB ports, and if the card is actually a controller rather than just a hub, it should work too as long as it's EHCI, as Expresscard is electrically just a hot-pluggable PCIe X1 slot.

So, if my mini-PCIe port is working, Can I assume the expressCard slot would work as well?

Hi! ;)

Are ExpressCards supported by osx86 releases (like uphuck 1.4i)?

I'm think about getting a USB 2-Port ExpressCard34 but I'm not sure if it will work...

Does anyone know if they work on hackintosh? :D

Thanks! :)

So a WIFI ExpressCard should work with iATKS Leopard 10.5.1?

I'm just wondering since when I go into System Profiler and click 'PC Cards' it just says 'No Information Found.' And when I go into 'PCI Cards' it says 'This computer does not appear to have any PCI cards installed.'

Then again I'm not sure if either of these even pertain to the ExpressCard slot, I read above that it's actually just a USB-type connection? but I just wanted confirmation. Anyone think it should work despite the System Profiler messages?

Thanks for any help.

P.S. I just looked in 'USB' in System Profiler and along with the regular USB buses one of the devices listed is 'USB High-Speed Bus'. The Host Controller Location says 'Built In USB' and the Host Controller Driver is 'AppleUSBEHCI'. Could this be the ExpressCard slot?
