vandall Posted September 26, 2007 Share Posted September 26, 2007 strage problem here where when booting up logic 8 for first time, it scans AU's and OSX comes upwith the darkened restart your computer screen. A friend of mine with a G5 was getting also... he turned off one of his powercore firewires and it was fine. I removed all connected stuff but the USB drive enclosure I am curently running/testing OSX86 on and it got alot further but still did it. It actually did this for the first time when connecting wireless dongle before Logic 8 was installed I'm guessing its a power issue...?? Im on an Asus P5B-E motherboard... Powercore Charecter is one that's causing a problem... is a must have for kick durms for me so really want to get this sorted... anyone else had the same probs and managed to sort it out?
