cringemaster
So, anyone wanna start posting any paticular applications that still work or have been broken by leopard? I'm about to start an installation later and the only apps im really worried about are remote buddy and overflow.
Ayanami
Can't get Parallels to run (latest build). No iMovie. Azereus quits after I first start it up, but when I start it a second time, it works fine. MS Office gives me a few error messages every once and a while...Still works though. Acrobat Pro doesn't seem to want to work with Safari.
cringemaster
OK, well so far BluePhoneElite works fine with my v3, Remote Buddy seems to work, as does azureus and overflow. The only thing right now that I miss is iWow. OSS 3D also doesnt work. I'm guessing leopard changed the sound stack. Anyone have any ideas? So my list after upgrading (finally) from 10.4.10 to 9a599 Works: Azureus Adium BluePhoneElite iStat menus Remote Buddy Coversutra Deskshade No problems with wlan/airport CoverScout (no Safari 3 support with 2.3.3) Doesnt Work: iWow for iTunes OSS 3D Shapeshifter (duh)

wisequark
I haven't had a problem with Font Explorer X since 410. What issue are you having exactly?
HackerName
Hmmm. It could be a permissions issue now that I think of it. I'll upgrade, and investigate. EDIT: Yup. Upgrade solved it. Yay!

Ayanami
=( I mean, it runs, but it gives me some kind of hyper-something fault every time I stick the disk in to install Vista or SuSE. I guess I could try making an ISO...didn't cross my mind at the time, and I wasn't that interested at the time.

Matthias03
iTunes 7.4.2 (<--- the latest one for OS X) isn't working. It crashes after the song plays, so a song will play and when it goes to start the next track, BANG! Crash w/ the typical: "Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x00. . . ." or "Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)" Extremely frustrating as iTunes is my bread and butter. What I've done to attempt to fix this: - turned off all extra features in iTunes (aka "look for remote speakers, look for updates, look for shared playlists etc.) - Reinstalled the latest version of iTunes - Installed a older version of iTunes - Erased my Leo partition, and reinstalled the whole OS - Pulled iTunes library etc., from my Tiger (working same iTunes build) - deleted cache files, plists Running on a 1.2 G4, 1.5 gig RAM, w/ 9a559's build. <argh> Thoughts? (I've searched the boards here, nothing, and googled briefly but do u know how many hits "itunes 7.4 crashes" there are?)

AintLDS
Homeworld 2 and Halo seem to work fine. Some of "The Blade" cracks don't work (Call Of Duty 2, AOE 3). Quicken, NetNewsWireLite, VLC, Azureus, Elgato EyeTV Hybrid 2.5 all seem to be fine.

as400
Hmm, i'm on 9A559 and Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5160 works pretty well, but looks like Tunnelblick still doesn't work MBP 2,2 GHz / 2 GB For You and for all others who need Tunnelblick here is a quick workaround I have Tunnelblick installed in /Applications/Utilities so if you installed it in some other place you will have to change paths. You need: root account enabled, root password. Enter commands without quotes. 1. Open terminal and become root : "su -" .Enter password. 2. Change permissions of Tunnelblick.app: "chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Utilities/Tunnelblick.app". 3. Now, to start your connection here are the commands: - "cd /Applications/Utilities/Tunnelblick.app/Contents/Resources" - "kextload tap.kext" or replace tap.kext with tun.kext if you are using it - "./openvpn --config /Users/yourname/Library/openvpn/yourconnection.conf". In this scenario connections are started interactively - it means that you cannot close a terminal because doing so you will close your connection. To stop a connection bring your terminal to the front and press ctrl-c. I will try to write a script to automate this. Someday
