Ok so far I tried reading all 14 pages of this thread but can't find any perfect solution for my display. This is my first attempt of getting OSX running on PC. Here are my display specs and I hope someone can help me to find correct procedure to get my display working properly.

Currently Installed Leo4AllV3 (10.5.2). So far I am able to boot up. Got my USB wireless working. But still working on rest of the stuff step by step.

So here is my display configuration on laptop under system profler.

Type: Display

Bus: PCIe

PCIe Lane Width: x16

VRAM (Total): 256 MB

Vendor: ATI (0x1002)

Device ID: 0x9581

Revision ID: 0x0000

Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded

Displays:

Display:

Resolution: 1024 x 768

Depth: 32-bit Color

Core Image: Software

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

Quartz Extreme: Not Supported

According Gateway my display is

ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 2600 XT PCI Express Graphics

512 MB GDDR3 Dedicated Memory with 1280 x 800.

I will really appreciate if someone can point me or suggest me what need to get proper resolution on my laptop.

Thanks in advance -AJ

Hi,

I have 10.5.6 and a ATI HD2600 XT device 0x9588. Everything works perfeect with my Eizo at resolution 1920x1200.

The display is connected via DVI.

I've just tried to install my Final Cut on the hackintosg aswell but it says that there's no VRAM and no QE supported.

System-Profiler displays 512 MB VRAM.

Below the section "display" there's listed my EITO and the point QE says not supported.

How can I turn QE on??

For anyone with a ATI Radeon HD 2600 with AGP Device id 9587 i fixed it for anyone with agp

Download

Use Kext Helper to install the kexts

You still need to download the natit from IRC #RadeonHD ..The first link in the topic

Also report back if Dual DVI works should work fine i just need confirmed report of it
