mrjoe
does anybody know how to make an image like that? (tiger-x86-flat.img) (by installing mac osx yourself on a vmware image) how can you make sure it works just like the vmware way (putting the contents of the img file of deadmoo onto a real partition) and how do you get the img? ~pcwiz
You make an image like that by linking a VMware VMDK image to an empty IMG file and then you install whatever it is on VMware and everything gets stored on the IMG. I actually don't know how to do this myself You can write the contents of the IMG onto a real partition by using DD. See this page for instructions on how to write tiger Deadmoo to a real partition: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...a_Physical_Disk You can find the tiger Deadmoo image on torrent sites. **NOTE**: I strongly advise you NOT to use Deadmoo. It is fast and easy but its not useful or usable. If you want to get real work done, why don't you just install native using one of the many DVDs out there? Installing OS X natively nowadays is just like Windows (except you will have to perform a bit of tweaking and troubleshooting to get it working good)
