rishabh
Hi there! I just downloaded the 9a466 build from Piratebay, called "Leopard Boot.sparseimage". It's in a zip file. When I try to unzip it on Ubuntu linux, it says "error: invalid compressed data to inflate". Is this the way it is, or is my download corrupted? I don't have any Mac already installed, so I can't even use the .dmg of the 9a527 build. All I want is a Leopard bootable DVD. How do I get one? Thanks! Xosx86
You need osx to unzip that file! sorry
rishabh
I didn't know that. Thanks I have the install DVD for 10.4.6 "Darwin". So can I install Darwin on a virtual machine, unzip it (in the virtual machine), and burn another DVD (still in the virtual machine)?
hecker
If you have an OSX install DVD, you can boot from it and convert the image to iso with hdiutil (from the terminal). Cheers, hecker
rishabh
Yes, but it's in a ZIP file. I can't unzip it on Ubuntu. Should I burn the zip file onto a DVD and then use hdiutil? Thanks.
