The most compatible and the one that works all the time is Alcohol 120% which has all 3 items (erase, make image and burn image) which means you don't have to be nervous about it working with each other. And zip (gotta' zip what you're gonna' transfer for maximum compatibility, even if your OSX could see another drive with another file system), it's got to be The compression.
