ghostkill Posted August 18, 2007 Share Posted August 18, 2007 im on these guys same boat /couldn't read user-specified local host name <<<thans the last thing i see before it stops, i had a working version with all my hardware working on this partition it was 10.4.6 then i decided to upgrade it to 10.4.8 using jas amd intel sse2 sse3 dvd , i have a ss2 p4 and a geforce mx4000 video card , all i get now is the u need to restart error i even erased the disk and tried a full install it gives me the same error Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
