aquadeluxe
I have figured out how to get my Input and Output to work in Native Instrument's Guitar Rig, without any additional software or hardware. Only tested with AC97 Audio. Steps: 1.Open up Audio MIDI Setup. /Applications/Utilities/Audio Midi Setup 2.Go up to "Audio" in the menubar and click "Open Aggregate Device Editor". 3.Click the "+" button and then click on you audio input and output. (I just clicked both "AC97 Audio (PCM)" that were in the list. If you don't really know what to click, just click everything there is, and if there is any problem, just take one out and try). 4.Open up Guitar Rig and go to Guitar Rig's Preferences. 5.Click the dropdown menu beside of "Output Device" and choose "Aggregate Device". You may also want to change the "Output Latency" to what your system can handle without crackling. There you go! Hopefully it works for you. I only tested it on one computer with 10.4.10. It should be able to work on any Hackintosh.
sheeplover
Good to hear ... gotta try that with mine. BTW: the POD XT LIVE and POD XT PRO booth hook up and run flawlessly without any driver installed. They seem to be 100% CoreAudio compatible ;-)
