Hi. I have EIST (that speedstep feauture), my FSB in the BIOS is at 375 x 9 making the CPU run at 3.37Ghz. CoreTemp .95 on Vista says my FSB is at 561 x 6 which still makes it a 3.37Ghz (although it's a little hotter than if you turn off EIST) but CPU-Z and Intel's TAT says it's only running at around 266 x 9 = 2.4Ghz. My idle temp on this E3400 with this overclock is 73 Celsius and around 90+ Celsius on Prime 95 or Orthos. Please advice. If I turn off EIST, they both read 375 x 9 and the temperature lowers a little but my 3D games will slow down for some reason. Thx. Gbu.
