There are two updaters you can use, the PascalW 10.4.10 Delta Updater (Intel and AMD) or the Koolkal 10.4.10 Combo Updater (Intel only). You can find both in the usual places....The Koolkal updater will be named "koolkal 10.4.10 intel combo sse2 sse3 V2" and the PascalW updater will be called "10.4.10 Mac OS X update for hackintosh". Just a couple hints for you so you know what to search for :P.......

Good luck

but there's still no update for sse2 users, am i correct?

Actually, there is a 10.4.10 updater for SSE2. The only limitation is that you have to use the 10.4.9 kernel (v. 8.9.1). Only SSE3 users can update to the 10.4.10 kernel (v. 8.10.1). The installer is called "koolkal 10.4.10 intel combo intel sse2 & sse3 V2". The mpkg file inside the archive is called "koolkal 10.4.10 intel combo update sse3 only", but you can safely install on SSE2 it by deselecting the 8.10.1 kernel and selecting the 8.9.1 kernel durning installation. This step is crucial. The 8.10.1 kernel will be selected by default, so you have to deselect it, and select the 8.9.1 kernel instead

Hope this clarifies things

Thanks, I'll look into backing up first just in case.

: )

I tried updating to 10.4.10 once and I had kernel panic, probably because I updated the kernel too..

Will kernel 8.10.1 ever be available to SSE2 CPUs?

hello,

Do You mean your cpu don't support sse3? if this is correct you can update else by select 8.91 kernel or update to it by 10.4.9 combo update and update to 10.4.10 by pascal'w update but sse3 will be good if you have it....

My CPU support SSE3 and i can update to 10.4.10 by koolkal update.

but lelt's try you can do it and if you face any problem you can put it in forum and we will help u all. :(

Don't worry.

regards,bye. :)

Kernel 8.9.1 is the latest that is available to SSE2 CPUs right now. Maybe they will make 8.10.1 in the future:)
