39thRonin
I've not found the Camino browser laggy at all. The truth is that even with x86 builds I've used from around these fourms, the standard PPC Camino build has been the most stable - and not slow at all. I'm pretty picky about page loads myself, and I found that simply applying the various Firefox speedups to Camino have worked quite well (http.pipelining, et. al.). For me, it's more important to go to a webpage and not crash than to think I've got the fastest browser available. I'm looking forward to a really solid Firefox x86 build or even a solid x86 Camino build...
domino
I agree with you that PPC Firefox and PPC Camino are very stable. Hell, even PPC Sunbird is stable. However, I find the Shiira (Intel) has better response than any other the other PPC browsers. Camino (Intel) worked well, but it crashed twice so I binned it. I try my damnest not to run any PPC apps.
39thRonin
Yeah, I know what you mean by "binning" some apps! If someting bombs a couple of times out of the gate, then it's off to trashland...
