zsharp
I had a dual-booting system with Vista and OS X. I was trying to take a shortcut while booting and wanted to go right to the Darwin bootloader, so I made my OS X partition active with Vista's Disk Management console. Then I rebooted and got the HFS+ partition error, so I booted up g-parted and set the Vista partition to active. Now I can get into Vista fine, but when I try to boot OS X, Darwin bootloader doesn't come up, but instead I get "Chain booting error." I didn't modify these partitions or chain0. Everything was working fine and I only did what I described. Does anyone have any ideas?
