When you also got a ATi graphic card (Not a X1600) with 512MB try to delete "/System/Library/Extensions/IONDRVSupport.kext". After that delete "/System/Library/Extensions.mkext" and "/System/Library/Extensions.kextchache". Repair permissions with diskutil and reboot.
