I set my dock (using MacPilot) to display only running apps and use Trampoline to load them. I hope I'm not deranged.

 

 

same here, except I use quicksilver. never heard of trampoline, I'll check it out. very happy with quicksilver though.

 

edit:

just checked it. I like quicksilver better, with its concept of launching apps with keystrokes, it's way faster. think of a name, like firefox, write 'fi', launch it. when you get use to it it goes really fast. it's pretty close to launching it with your mind :D
