Casperclc Posted July 15, 2007 Share Posted July 15, 2007 Hi I have a problem getting my pc to boot OSX. I have tried to install 'OSX 10.4.8 by JaS' using this guide: http://coolblog.profit42.com/2007/04/14/os...r-no-dual-boot/ The installation is completed quickly but when it is done the installer tells me that it is going to reboot in 30 sec. and after that one of two things happen. 1. The guide says for me to remove the dvd once the computer is booting. If I do so the pc starts up and shows a screen with a white '_' blinking, and nothing else happens. 2. If I leave the dvd in the drive and wait until the 'press any key to install osx' disappeares, the system tells me that config file ‘/com.Apple.boot.plist’ is not found.
