adam mcewen Posted July 15, 2007 Share Posted July 15, 2007 thank you to everyone in this forum for all the tutorials. i finally got my broadcom 4311 card in my dell d620 working. only problem is that no matter what type of encryption i have on the network, it gives a wrong password error when connecting. it can see the network, plus a few of my neighbors, but will not let me past the password spot unless i change it to no encryption. anyone else have this problem and hopefully a solution? EDIT****** to anyone else that might be having this problem. after i did the eth0 to eth1 hack, i got the airport baseball diamond logo, and i could see wireless networks but couldn't join them. i went to apples site and downloaded both of the airport updates and installed them and now the wireless is working perfectly with wpa encryption. hope this helps someone else Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
