Numberzz Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 1. i find that pretty often when im in safari, it randomly goes back to the home page, my pages r saved but it has to reload them all again, anyone else having this problem? 2. some apps i find when ur flipping the iphone can go 3 ways, and some, can only go 2 ways, when i say that i mean it can go straight and the home button on the right side 3. if u place the iphone on its back it wants to change the way the apps face again 4. the home screen cant change direction, thats rly annoying 5. if u have photos on ur iphone that r on ur computer, but u want to import more, it asks u what do do with the duplicates every single time 6. when u search movies in the youtube app, it doesnt get all the ones u can find on youtube.com anyone else have these problems? Currently, Apple has said that youtube videos will be fully available for the iPhone and apple tv in october...they are converting all of them...so this takes time. whocares Posted July 12, 2007 Share Posted July 12, 2007 I have one, and experience most of these issues. My biggest annoyance is the Safari issue you talk about. It has happened to me at least 6 or 7 times already. None of the other items bother me so much except youtube. I really don't get why I can't see everything, but it is the same for the apple TV (which I also have). It is selective to display videos. I wish I knew why. It always seems to happen when i am on safari and listening to the ipod too. For #2 the iPod can flip three ways but Youtube only flips two ways..... #3 has happened to me before but not the point where it makes a difference or bothers me. #4 really bothers me too, especially from when i am going from safari in landscape to the homescreen and to the iPod. When i get the homescreen i have to turn the iPhone the right way back and then touch iPod and then turn the iPhone back on it's side. This may seem like a minute annoyance but it really builds up when you do it over and over again. For #5 I have not actually transfered my photos from iPhone to my computer. But the message that comes up saying to if you want to import the duplicates comes up on any camera if it has some of the same pictures you uploaded to your computer last time, so its not just becuase of you or the iPhone. And finally for #6 it is the same at appleTV. Apple and youtube now have the most popular videos up and are daily adding more and more videos until they have the whol catalog of youtube videos up and available for the iPhone. You have to play songs on shuffle, you cannot play them in sequential order like track 1 then 2 then 3 then 4.2. I cannot Manage my songs on my iPhone Manually like i do with my iPod. It makes no sense to not have that option for the iPod only and not the iPhone also, it is an iPod right?3. Apple has claimed that Safari on the iPhone is the true not watered down internet. Its not that though. There is no java or flash support so many things actaully do not work. Its not such a big deal for me but its just that apple claims that it is the REAL internet.4. The camera is great but why not be able to take video? It does not make sense to me that phones that fall in comparison to the iPhone can take video but the iPhone cant.Some other features that i think are missing:Picture SMS MessagingUsing my music as RingtonesSyncing my Notes to my Macbook Pro(Impossible ATM)-I can email them to myself but it just makes no sense to me to not be able to sync them to your computerThe Calculator is waaaay to basic. On my Palm handheld i had a graphing calculator app that eliminated a big clunky calculator from my backpack at school, i hope that an app like that is made for the iPhone.This may seem like a really big complaint list but these are basic things that should have been included with iPhone at launch.Even though i put all these complaints out i am still very happy and satisfies with iPhone. GBK.Xscape Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 1 thing.. how do i access my camera roll on osx.. on windows i can access it like any other digital camera, but osx it doesnt mount and iphoto doesnt detect it as a camera thats hooked up. and there is no option in itunes to access the camera roll either... on my macbook pro when i put my iphone onto the dock iphoto opens automatically for me.... there are settings that may have been changed so that when a digital camera is plugged in iphoto does not open, make sure that setting is not stopping iphoto from opening up, or just open iphoto when the iphone is connected and see if it recognizes if it is connected.
