johnniecarcinogen
**Updated 2.0.0.11 version** Compiled with gcc 4.0.1 and has optimizations and increased security in the spirit of swiftfox but compiled into an OS X binary. (Swiftfox releases) No AMD versions are planned this time. Download

erbic
They don't even have Mac builds on the Swiftfox website, only Linux ones. I'll check this out later to see if there really is a speed increase. And to see if it works properly in Leopard.
Colonel
I didn't know there was a Macintosh/AMD compiler. The Core Duo build seems to definitely run faster on my MacBook than the regular Firefox runs. Thanks!

asap18
You can't call it firefox or have the firefox icon. You are breaking the Mozillia License.
johnniecarcinogen
It is the official release source code, just legally compiled using the .mozconfigs I posted. It is Firefox 4.0.0.4, not a nightly or different branch.
Hagar
Well I've been using the AMD64 build on this sempron & it seems better than the standard build.

johnniecarcinogen
the AMD one, will it work with sempron.. u only stated opteron and athlon.. Yes, as long as it is a newer one that has 3DNow! and SSE2. (which I'm sure it is if you're running osx86.)

BrumBrum74
Cannot download the Core Duo/Solo file from the link posted. Any other links please?
johnniecarcinogen
I used evilshare last time which is much better but people sent me messages worrying if there was something malicious about the link etc. Fileho works ok, you just have to wait 60 seconds before the link appears at the bottom where it says "click here" BELOW the advertising. Ill put them up on another hosting site if anyone knows a better one (not rapidshare) since I dont have my own server.
velayo
Johniecarcinogen : THanks for this new build. Working much faster on an intel core 2 duo. I love the icon it really looks more in place and its well proportioned with the rest of my dock icons. Good job!!
BrumBrum74
I can now get to download the file, but it never gets complete. Could somebody please provide a mirror for the file?
phor2zero
Thank you!.. I used Bon Echo for a little while, but I was having trouble so I switched back to the mozilla build. I'll try this one now. I'm using it on my Macbook Pro 2.33 C2D. My Hackint0sh hasn't been touched in months, mainly because I still have to open bios and disable SLI in order to get it to boot, then switch SLI back on when I'm done..... pain in the butt. EDIT: NEVER MIND. I've never heard of these FileHo guys, but their service doesn't work. I downloaded five 0KB files in a row. If someone else succesfully gets it, please put it somewhere good. (like Rapidshare)

velayo
Just wanted to express my thanks again. Firefox now rocks on my system. Before it was kind of slugish so I had given up on it. I was trying different native browsers, omnipage, camino, shiira. They were ok but didn't have the funtionality that firefox has. Your build is now rocking my web surfing even with a lot of different extensions. THanks man!!
