Some new effets aren't "60fps", ie, now when you move your mouse cursor on the dock to magnify the dock, it isn't as fast as in Tiger (30 fps versus 60 fps) because of the new reflections I suppose.

Do you guys think we'll need a GeForce 8 for Leo or it'll be fine with the Final release ? I mean, I don't see them improving OpenGL performances that much now since the Beta can be considerered as a release candidate...

Magnification does feel a bittlaggy, and dashbored, but this is pre release so I dont blame the card

Magnification is choppy, but other things such are reflections and quicklook transitions to full screen work fine and don't even hog the CPU.

iMac 24 + GeForce 7300.

Blame the beta, I have those slow transition problems too.

If you hide the dock, it isn't as bad but I like keeping my dock in view/

Not using magnification is enough for me.
