Which programs still work or are broken with Leopard?

Can anyone tell me if these programs work okay with Leopard?

Programs

Firefox

VLC

Mplayer OSX

Toast Titanium

Ircle

Simple Comic

Adobe Photoshop CS2

Microsoft Office

Those are the main ones that I have questions on.

Oh almost forgot.. I heard that Leopard was unstable on G4 Macs.. is that true?

Has anyone tried Parallels 3.0 on Leopard? Does it work well?

Archmagination2002, 39thRonin is Leopard stable enough to be your main OS?

I am debating whether I should install it. My OS X 10.4.10 Intel Imac is solid rock stable, configured as I like and with all my Apps working perfectly.

Currently I do not have $ to buy an external HD. I would hate to install and then find out that it is not stable and I have to re-install Tiger and all my Apps again.

Should I take the plunge of installing on top of Tiger?

upgrade installs are not supported currently - i'd do a clean install if at all possible.

you could always do the bootcamp trick - get bootcamp assistant to (non-destructively) create a partition, then isntall to that...

Firefox, Toast, VLC and Mplayer OSX all run on my system. I've also tried a heap of other apps (CS3, NNW, Colloquy, Coda, Opera, etc) and they all work very well.

I have not found an incompatible app yet, and while the OS has a few rough edges, it's probably stable enough to use as your main system.

My first install of 9A466 was on an External HDD. I ran a FULL INSTALL and everything works flawless :P

After becoming more comfortable with the beta I decided to do an UPGRADE INSTALL to my current install of Tiger on my internal drive.... ohhhh what a mistake that was.

Buggy as hell... Lots of apps not responding..... Boots slower than the full install off the external drive.

Seems like the whole upgrade option is a bust on this build. I'm gonna backup all my important data and try a full install on my internal drive.

Just a heads up for anyone looking into installation options. Full Installation seems like the only good option for now.

Yes, upgrade is not yet working as the release notes warn.

They always keep that borked until the very last builds, obviously they want to focus on more important things before.

Can anyone get the Logitech Control Center software to detect their mouse? It's not finding mine.

You better use SteerMouse or something.

Logitech CC gives kernel panic when you disconnect USB dongles (in Tiger though). Buggy as hell.

Of course ...... Remote Desktop is not working .....

Awww.. {censored}. Second mark against this being my default OS, the first being the finnicky bluetooth.

Does the screen control option in finder allow you to control Tiger macs?
