kasza Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 Hi I just installed 10.4.6.install.dvd.iso in a VM. On the first reboot I got the error described in comment 1 of the VMware How To <http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Vmware_how_to> (b0 error). I was able to fix it, as described in that comment, by flagging the partition 1 as active. However, I cannot solve the next problem, described in comment 5 (error "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operting system" on reboot). I created the VM twice using the Custom option, but am never prompted to install any patches. The motherboard is quite new, ASUS P5L-MX, with Intel Core2 6320 @ 1.86 GHz, with no extra cards, just on-board stuff. Would you have any hints on how to proceed from here?
