green_meanie
Weird 6 would work. Toast 7 when installing says it won't work with an intel.
macgirl
They are planning an Intel release, I guess.
would_pay_for_mac_on_x86
my toast 6.09 worked perfectly on 1099 but no longer on 1111 this is on SSE3/NX native hardware too. everything is OK but the 4th Copy Icon causes it to crash when clicked. so i cant make DVD/CD copies or disc to disc. i tried deleting the com.roxio plist list file but it doesnt help can anyone confirm that this 4th icon works for them? or suggest a fix? But I guess on SSE3 systems it does not have that problem.
green_meanie
I am using DISKBLAZE and it seems to be a decent program.

Yep, exactly... it is working fine here. btw. can someone tell me for what I need Toast for? I mean, mp3 and audio can be done with iTunes, and burning is no problem with the diskutility or just create a burn-Folder...
macgirl
Well I use it instead of Disk Utility or own Mac OS disk burning abilities. I like more control than iTunes or Mac OS gives you to burn a Disc.

XanthraX
Try NTI Dragon Burn. Is another decent CD/DVD burner for MacOSX. I cannot try for you, cos I have now only an AthlonXP machine.
cyrana
Don't bother trying 7, they explicitely check for an x86 sytem. Their unibin release will probably be not long after the real platform is released.

Yeah, Cyrana, Toast 7 does not run on 8F1099 and shows that dumb screen of Intel Hardware bla bla bla, but with 8F1111g it runs without any glitch.
