ALC880 Audio works!!!

I have a FOXCONN - HACKINTOSH Everything works except the audio. Can anyone point me to the right drivers?

 

Model: FoxConn 925XE7AA LGA 775 Motherboard (Retail) <li>Item No: C3604 <li>General Features:

I have read the all thread...but i don't know.There is any kext for ALC880 wich is fully works? Mic in,line in-out,headphones(most important for me)volume bar...etc.I'm confused and i think i'm a noob. :PI have read the all thread...but i don't know.There is any kext for ALC880 wich is fully works? I have a ALC862. I have it working but not 100% (cuts out a lot and no volume control). Here is what I am using now.

 

I am wondering since all three of these chipsets are based on the same family (ALC880/ALC260/ALC861).

 

Then why cant I get my ALC861/2 based chip to work as well as people with the ALC880 chip?

 

Can someone from this topic take a look at what madtux has done here and fix it so it works like the ALC880 does? Volume control & make it so it does not cut out all the time.

i got my Mic and audio got work thought the attached kext ALC880.But there is loud bassy click noise at the boot.

 

after a long time i got it work :hysterical:

with no results.

I'm using Tiger 10.4.11 with kernel 8.8.1 semthex:/nebukadnezar/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 and Mainboard PTGD1-LA with Audio ACL880.

 

Any one knows how to make sound and mic works for that device ?

 

I've been searching in forum but noone using 10.4.11 with ACL 880
