Hello,

i tried to install Mac OSX on my notebook (Intel Celeron M 1.73 GHz, 2GB Ram) using Mac OS X 10.4.9 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1].

I can choose the install language, and after that the installer tells me: "Because of a Problem, installing Mac OSX could not be completed"

Can anyone help me please?

Thank you very much.

I've tried several ISOs and experiencing the same problem. I have a P4 with 2GB of memory and an ATI Radeon Mobility 9700. I've tried all VMware 6.0 RCs and the final.

I was able to install the old "deadmoo" awhile ago and that still "works".

I don't understand why my physical video card would matter since VMWare emulates its own, correct? The fact that we can see the language selection indicates to me the video works.

Is there a problem using 1.4.8 under a P4? I seem to recall at least one comment in the Wiki indiciating it was fine...

I do use Daemon, but get same error.

Sorry, I was thinking of a different problem related to VMWare.

I had this problem with VMWare too, but I can't remember what it was exactly. I never bothered to pursue a solution, other than installing native, which worked just fine.
