Bluemist Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Hi, I am at the end of my wick...and am about to go completely insane (as opposed to my current status of partially insane! ) I have Itunes 7.1.1 our music was stored on an external drive. For some reason some of the songs (about 20 altogether) will play and others won't. I DON'T get the ! (cant locate original file message) it just wont play. I have tried consolidating the library,adding to library, etc etc but nothing works. I cant work out the difference between the files that play and the ones that don't. (they are both in the same location). Am using OS X (10.4.9) Have tried running some scripts but nothing works so far. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bluemist Posted April 29, 2007 Author Share Posted April 29, 2007 Yes they have played before - whats more last night when i turned on a crashed disk drive they played again....which is strange seeing as I have transferred all the data to another disk....however it wont play unless the damaged drive is on....so i dont know.
