james2mart Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 I know the info is posted elsewhere, but it took me awhile to find it, thus it took me awhile to fix it, so I'm making it more visible for people DISCLAIMER: If you installed with JaS DVD and used the Intel GMA packages and plan on upgrading to ATI or nVidia (AGP or PCIe) then you MUST get the original OpenGL.Framework from the DVD!!!!!!!! process: 1. buy new card. 2. sudo cp -R /Volumes/(Jas DVD mountpoint)/System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.Framework /System/Library/Frameworks/ 3. add natit and change nvdaresman,geforce, and nvdanv1,2,3,40. 4. repair 5. rm /System/Library/Extensions.* 6. power off 7. install card 8. power on and get lucky.
