wuruoyu Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 Finally mod it with the stac7661 by changing the ids. now it's fully working, playing music on my vaio sz450n/c now. for those who has the new vaio sz4, this is the audio driver. use is with the appleHDA patcher, the patcher will crash for sure with the Semthex kernel, you need to replace it with the DaemonES kernel. Does your computer have "00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)" because I have a SZ330P. Will it work? Keys_3429 Posted May 24, 2008 Share Posted May 24, 2008 My Intel PC uses the sigmatel driver, I can see the sigmatel high definition audio codec in the device manager in widows (BTW: I dual boot XP & Mac OS X on the same hard drive - works perfectly) but I have no idea which driver to use for Mac OS. Is this the right one? How do I instal it on the Mac? I've only been using the Mac OS for 2 days (after a couple of days to figure out how to install). Expert on PC/Windows. Complete noob with Mac.
