Problem wirh Apple TV 1.1

Guys can anybody help me out

 

Recently I'd installed the apple tv1.1dmg file on macbook pro c2d 2.16 GHz with 1 gig ram but i'm incessanlty having this problem to shutdown my mac after quitting apple tv this has really started to crack my head .

 

what i mean to say is that after clossing apple tv

shutdown

restart

sleep

are not possible even with the keyboard shortcuts AND WITH MOUSE.

 

BUT the same application works fine with my mbp core duo 2.0 ghz 1gig ram 256 mb x1600 ati radeon

 

I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS CAUSING THIS MESS ON MY C2D MBP???????

PLZZZZZZZZZZZ .......... HELP.............!!!!!!!!

Quitting ATV causes LoginWindow to freeze.

 

Solution A: Open activity monitor and force quit Loginwindow (will log out all users)

Solution B: Hold down power button

but isn't there any stable apple tv dmg file that can overcome this "freezing" problem........ or someone developed some sort of patch witch can stabalise this problem

Nope. but if you don't have more than one account, it really isn't a problem. Until ATV came out, I had not restarted my iMac in 2months! unfortunately, it doesnt run under Leopard, so I have to reboot into Tiger. Since I dont use Tiger, loginwindow isn't a big deal for me, but it could be a major problem for some users.
