jambta Posted April 12, 2007 Share Posted April 12, 2007 Hello out there, I've been busy trying to get my appleTV to play MLB.tv streams. This is through the standard appleTV (finderless) OS. So far I've gotten the streams to play in a firefox window. If I set my monitor size to 800x600 it looks pretty decent. When VNC is disabled playback of the 700k is very smooth There are two problems left to surmount: 1) I need quicktime player.app to be able to work 2) I need to be able to change the flip4mac options so that it will launch a standalone app (this shouldn't be too hard). Currently QTPlayer.app launches but fails upon opening any media. I tried using VLC but it seems that wmv3 format is not tested with intel machines yet. has anyone managed to play any content with QuickTime player.app ? If I can't get it working I;ll go back to installing regular old 10.4.8 and try the HDA hack with the realtec. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
