DarkR00kie
Ok is it me or do settings just not save? Everytime I reboot my MacBook Pro Input remapper fires up the keyboard wizard and I have to redo my settings. I'm running 15" MBP with Vista Ent. Everything seems ok once I change the settings but why dont they save? I'm an Admin with UCA off, tried to find a config file to see if I could hard code the settings but no joy. If someone could shine some light that would nice! Thanks!

Make sure that the Input Remapper directory has the "System" account in permissions and that it has write permissions.
Blackbox2407
Same Problem here on Vista Business and UAC on. System has full access to the Folder and Settings.dat was modified. After reopening the wizzard Settings are back to default.
Drewbacca
I am having the same problem on my Mackbook running Vista Business. "System" has full privelages and the keys are still switching back to the defaults each time I launch the program. Other than this bug, this is a great (essential) companion to Boot Camp. Thanks a ton for developing it.

Thanks a ton for developing it. I had the same problem, and the solution is to right click the InputRemapper.exe file and click "Run as Administrator". I also made a shortcut to InputRemapper.exe and modified the target string to: < "C:\Program Files\Input Remapper\InputRemapper.exe" -TrayIcon >. Then right click it and Run as administrator. From now on, vista should always run this file with administrator privileges. HTH Andrei I am having the same problem on my Mackbook running Vista Business. Blackbox2407
For me this solution is not working :-( Any other solution?
Beliyaal
I don't know if this is a real issue or just that the Wizard didn't save the choices before. It does now. I have confirmed that settings are saved with UAC on and it work even with a limited user account. Please report if it's still not working for you.
