Eric.C
I've got a JaS DVD, tried to install natively but failed due to the stupid JMicron thing, I asked for a patch that someone said exists but no replies so far. So i decided to try VMware. I only have 1 SATA HDD. which I heard will work cuz it doesnt need the JMicron thing. The boot was fine, until I got to the Installation part. I se my Virtual Machine to use a partition on my Hard Drive. Then in Disk Utility, I found 2 partitions with a total of 128 GB, even though the partition I gave to the VM was 100GB. I tried a combonation of different partition schemes but all of them failed with an error. The only option is to click OK. Then the virtual mache is restarted. Someone plz help. I really need to get this working for final cut, which im using instead of WIndows Movie Maker for my school project.

baysie
Before you go and to get everything working at once, what worked for me was to get 1 thing working at a time..... after 6 months from 4.6 to 4.9 everything now works on PC. One thing that anyone using this site should realise that ALL the answers are on this site waiting also everything has now been covered. And if you cannot find it, try it yourself and post what you have learnt. , Just use your brain and read and research, don't expect to be given the answers. You also need to understand some ground rule about hardware and software. This reply might sound a bit harsh, but putting in a little work and effort will help you in the long term....
