Mac pro crashes when I switch systems

Ok, I don't really know how to go about debugging this problem. I have an Aten 1762 KVM switch. It has USB and DVI, and my 2nd computer is my main Window's PC I am using an Apple Keyboard to switch systems on the KVM. They are both connected to a Benq 20" LCD, and a Razer Copperhead mouse.

Sometimes, after 10-15 minutes of being switched away from it, the Mac will lock up I usually know that it has frozen because any music that is playing will start to loop whatever is playing. When I try to switch back to the Mac, my mouse doesn't light up, the screen is blank and nothing happens.

I then do a hard powerdown with the front switch, and when it reboots and loads OSX, there is a warning the "OSX unexpectedly quit" and gives me the option of "ok" or "View report" If I click on "View report" nothing happens. I've tried looking for a report on the system using the search, but there doesn't seem to be an updated crash log.

Anyone know what is going on here? This crashing issue seems to have started only within the last 3 or 4 weeks, but the only things that are running are itunes, Sticky's, Opera, Xchat aqua, and Skype.

When I first was testing the KVM, I actually had a 2nd monitor connected to the mac (Bad idea btw, it doesn't play nice with a KVM and a 2nd monitor) near as I can tell, because the KVM doesn't emulate a monitor, OSX freaks out and keeps trying to connect to a screen when it's not in focus. The CPU usage on the Mac kept maxxing out one processor. I think the process was "Window Server" that was going nuts when that happened. But it didn't crash anything at the time. So I still don't know exactly what is going wrong now :|
