GonGong
Hi to all experts out there, I'm having some problems trying to install the JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.with.v1p.and.Deviant.patch into my 80 GB 2.5" Seagate USB External Hard Disk (5400rpm). I'm using vmware 6 to get into the installation page but I can't see any hard drive at the destination selection section....same goes for the disk ultility....nothing there except the virtual cd rom drive. By the way, I'm using Windows XP Pro to do this. My hard drive is formmated in NTFS. What seems to be the problem here? Please do guide me on this. Many Thanks. Hi, Are you mounting a virtual drive on your VMware machine? It's label will be VMware Virtual blablabla... I suggest you should check your virtual machine settings once more time.. nicko_029
If you are installing OS X trough the VMware, you must edit 2 VMware's files with extensions vmdk and vmx When you open it with notepad, they must look like this:
Eddie Turfboer
GonGong, according to your screenshot you have 4 devices available: virtual harddrive, cdrom, sound and floppydrive. I suppose that you have to enable usb devices to directly connect to your device in vmware or you have to enable a phisical partition. I hope this helps you...
