Jentulman Posted April 4, 2007 Share Posted April 4, 2007 So I've finally become a switcher, and on the cheap too, for £100 GB I've picked up a 400MHz G4 Tower (I think you call it a sawtooth), Tiger install DVD and half a 1GHz G4 Powerbook. That's right half a Powerbook, it all works, but unfortunately after the hinges there's a distinct lack of TFT as it was snapped off by the previous owner. It's currently working on an external monitor and I'm having lots of fun making my first Quartz Composer compositions (I'm a VJ of sorts). What I need to do now is get a new panel, so can anyone give me a rough idea of what they cost and where to get them? (I'm in the UK) I'm working on a really tight budget as I'm saving to go to university in a few months. I'm keeping an eye on Ebay to get an idea but other help would be appreciated.
