Just a heads up that vista x64 ultimate edition loads very easily on a MacPro, but in the process it destroyed rEFIt bootloader intall that was already on the MacPro. After it destroyed (or kept rEFIt from starting at boot of system), it displayed a few lines of code saying that user should rebuild bootloader ...something, something, something, and then I sam the line "chainloader something", and then it booted with no problem. Kinda seems like it overwrote the rEFIt, and then it automatically rebuilt the master boot record using its own files maybe?? Kinda weird, but was actually quite interesting. Anyway, I then rebooted, and of course only vista x64 would boot automatically (hadnt loaded or Attempted to load any bootcamp drivers since probably WONT WORK ANYWAY...LOL). I then rebooted again holding down Option, and chose OSX. It booted OSX fine. I then reinstalled rEFIt, and rebooted. Well both OS's showed up, but vista did not like booting from rEFIt. It started showing lines of code again, and then just stopped at a standard windows vista (as I've seen before with just Winxp and Vista x86 on a system) bootloader, of course only showing Windows Vista, but I hit enter, and it would not boot. At this point i just went back to OSX and reloaded my Vista x86 image back to the partition with winclone, and all was back to normal. I was just experimenting with Vista x64 to see how it would run native on MacPro, and thought I'd let all know it works pretty well, without drivers even. I may mess around with it some more when i have more time, and look for some drivers for sound, etc....

Oh yeah, it saw all the ram too, so that was a plus! :dance_24:
