In your control panel, there's an ability to change your Screen Name which differs from you Log-In Name. For example, my login name and screen name were both MrBond, until recently, when I changed my screen name to Mr. Bond. That lady has way to many powers. But why would you want to change you age? Can't get rid of the damn thing. But is there a way to change it so that not only is it your display name but also your login name? Why do people register with names they don't want? Of course, as to joseafus' point...changing you're name after being on a forum for a while can be a little jarring. Hard to remember who's who, and such.
