I have neither Windows nor Linux box. My two monitors are:

Dell E176FP

Dell 2405FPW

Anyone out there have the EDID's for these?

Edit: I got the EDID for my 17" Dell (at least I think it might be... it may just be a default thing because it's under a "AppleDisplay" heading... doens't say anything about Dell. Just don't know how to get it into the plist file. I have the PropertyList Editor but the EDID string I have appears to be Hex but that doesn't appear to be the format in the plist file. Any help?

Here's the EDID:

"IODisplayEDID" = <00ffffffffffff0010ac14a0435549340710010368221b782ec5c6a3574a9c23124f54a54b007

Final update. Again, thanks to all that tried to help. I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't be able to get a video card working in this setup. I was able to get the EDID for my 17" monitor and I placed it in the Natit.kext->Info.plist. Still didn't work.

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me with a problem I am having. I just modified the package on 10.5 fully updated on a PMG4 FW800 and have tried repairing permissions. I modified the third collection of numbers Under the PRIMARYMATCH like on the macelite page and erased everything in the PRIMARYMATCH section. I erased everything in the mentioned files as well as NVDRESMANPPC and GEFORCE.kext and changed it to 0x00f510de (although I suspect it resets to original). I don't know that the permissions have repaired themselves because they always seem to attempt repair.

It seems to run ok except it takes a while to display login screen and monitor won't go to sleep or have screensaver on login screen. (I do have remote management on if that could affect it.)

P.S. My card is a flashed BFG 7800OC GS 256MB. It's device id is 0x00f5 and in the section I replaced, I replaced everything before the & and left everything afterward. I would appreciate a response. Maybe there is a problem I could help you with? Thank you!
