BodomChild
I have the exact same problem, except I installed 10.4.7. On IRC, I was told 10.4.7 has an issue with VMWare, so I'm installing 10.4.8 with VMWare right now (23 mins remaining), so I'll see what happens. gnubeard
Boot it up, and hit F8 at the Darwin bootloader. Then type -x -v into the bootloader. This will boot up in safe mode, and ensures that verbose message printing is given. Scan this well for error messages to help pinpoint your problem. Also, edit the VM settings and remove unneccessary hardware (floppy). And go into the VM's BIOS and disable the serial ports and floppy drive. If all else fails, you can boot into single user mode (-s at the bootloader) and remove the Airport driver.
