EFI
Interfacelift.com has the best high-res (2560x1600) wallpapers ever. There are a lot of professional photographers there who submit their piece, and a lot of them look stunning. Thats my #1 site for high res wallpapers. They also have really nice icon submissions for for OS X, and Windows as well.

Purple Puppy
When I need huge wallpapers, I just do a huge render of my 3D models. The thing is that I don't have a terribly high-res monitor so I don't need huge wallpapers. However, I do make some high-res renders, like this one: (56k warning)
crashnburn_in
Which PCIe / PCI Express / PCI X card (s) have driver support for 2560 x 1600 resolution on a Leopard or Snow Leopard?
apple_core
The nVidia 8800GT can support that resolution, I believe. I will be building a machine with the 8800GT and a 30" LG W3000h IPS monitor. To drive the monitor at 2560x1600 it takes both DVI outputs from the card. bonestonne
interesting statement ^^ To drive the monitor at 2560x1600 it takes both DVI outputs from the card. Is that for that specific monitor? I've got a 30" Mac cinema display running on an ATI X800XT, which only has one DVI connector, and then the odd ADC connector, which is unused. no problems with it. I have been looking for Large 2560X1600 Wallpapers for a while now and i have found a few but what have you guys found? Google works pretty well. Use the "Advanced Image Search" from the Images google page. Choose something like larger than 6MP or you could define a precise size.
