What you want to do is remove the DRM, sadly that is not possible at this time.

A possible workaround is to 'frame capture' your m4v file with something like 'Snap Pro X' or 'Vnc2Swf.

Your file will be recorded while it plays, you will end up with 2 files (original DRM'ed m4v and the capture).

Encode the captured file and the job is done.

i'm talking video, not audio.

there are a few tools which remove the drm for itunes audio.

to date havn't found any osx apps what do itunes video

Sorry, my bad, but at least try to load the file in nero vision, if it loads you are done, if it not, go to the doom9 site and check the guides. I hope you succed.

Convert-tune converts protected files to different formats.

P.S. It runs on Windows 2003, XP, 7, Vista and adds ID3 tags ;)
