Panda200x
Yes, Paradox is a very good keygen/crack developer. It works for me and I hope more cracks like this surface.

Urbz
just wanna point out that this is microsoft's fault for not implementing EFI like they should have. BIOS sucks: it was stupid to bind signatures to it when it's so prehistoric... Good luck to x64 users, though. Depending on your setup, a method like this one may not be achievable. -Urby
me@home
Good luck to x64 users, though. Depending on your setup, a method like this one may not be achievable. hmm...I re-installed Vista because I wanted to have the Ultimate 64bit. mainly for the RAM, I have 4GB and the 32bit one only uses 3170MB, now with 64bit it's all OK. I only used the timelock hack. Don't think it will last for long, maybe easy for MS to check it...? Is there any news for us on Vista X64 ? CoolBits
Check here... there is a way to rearm it forever and micro$oft explains how LOL http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsVista...3.mspx?mfr=true http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsVista...3.mspx?mfr=true They say if you steal, you steal OUR software Change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurentVersion\SL\SkipRearm from 0 to 1 Edited March 18, 2007 by coolbits
Executor252
Thank god for this. I love the simplicity of the timerstop.sys method, but since that driver was causing BSODs at user login on the Macbook (but not on my older "real" PC laptop), I'm glad another solution exists Sweet forum, by the way. As much as I love other sites like extremeoverclocking and lurking at xtremesystems.org, I'm glad there are places to discuss "other" subject matter like hacking and cracking OSs... Takuro
The timestopper crack doesn't activate your system. It just prevents you from ever having to activate. That means that you are still using it in trial mode and can't files and visit parts of the Microsoft site that require genuine activation. I've installed every Vista update to date, and well... if I had used this hack *ahem which I didn't of course* it's still be working fine.
Executor252
Appreciated, however, trial / grace period mode and "you havn't authenticated in 180 days-- lockdown" mode are very different. You pretty much have to authenticate using x64 huh? timerstop.sys is a driver, and an not-x64 compatible one at that right? me@home
well, don't understand you... I have Ultimate 64bit, x64 installed and use this Windows.Vista.All.Versions.x86.x64.Final.Crack-CLoNY for keeping 30days to activate, timer doesn't count down ! Edit: Today I installed VistaActivationCrackSetup(2.1.2.1) and guess what ? YEAH fully activated OEM version 64bit ! So I guess that's it for the next time. tripleboot
The Paradox team has done it again! They have devised a way to activate Windows Vista using a very simple concept. Microsoft decided to issue certain mass-activation serial numbers for large manufacturers such as Asus and HP. Multiple computers made by these manufacturers can have the same serial, provided that OEM certificates match and certain BIOS information corresponds to their machines. Why is this stupid on Microsoft's part? The Paradox team has made BIOS emulation drivers for Asus, HP, and other manufacturers. In addition, adding OEM information to your system is extremely easy. By installing certificates and the emulation driver, anybody can enter any mass-activation serial # and automatically have a 100% geniune system. There's literally nothing Microsoft can do now. Anything they try to do would also ultimately affect people who legally purchased Vista. There's nothing left to differentiate illegal from legal systems. I'm not going to post any files here, but you can click here to see the story on Digg! Look through the comments and you might find a certain zip file. Please note: there was a supposed "brute force" hack that caused some buzz this week. The creator admitted that it was just a prank. It doesn't work. As for the Paradox team's job, all I have to say is this: Updates eventually will be difficult, but then there will be Autopatcher for Vista. It will be back and forth, such as the it has been with XP for years. The hackers to legit and the MS to block. My copy of Vista is legit. Unlike most of you hackers. In the long run, the hackers always win out.
Vertigo50
I don't understand why everyone is going to these extreme lengths with emulation and such. The timerstop crack works fine. All you do is install Vista as the "30-day trial" with no key, and then hack it so that the 30-day trial turns into a 5 year trial. Poof! Done. This was out within the first week of the Vista launch. The only thing you have to do is check the Windows Updates before you install them to make sure they're not fixing this issue.
devilhood
It's not an 'extreme' method, just an alternative method that works in favor for those who want a more legitimately looking install of their pirate OS. The same paranoia for checking Windows Update for fixes applies to all related cracks, whether it's BIOS emulation, KMS or Timerstop, at least this way we have a growing selection
