Well, think about it this way... Apple told us that they would be delivering a Monthly Developer Seed of Leopard.

There was no seed for the month of February, unless you call March 1 the February build.

If that is the case, there was no March build.

The longest that we have waited so far has been 45 days between builds. As fate has it, there is an EVENT on that 45 day marker, one where Apple will have a TON of media guys around wanting to find out the latest and greatest technology and see how it relates to them so that they can do their jobs.

That means FCS 6.

It would make sense given how infrequently the ProApps are updated that this one will be the "Leopard" version of FCS. Apple is certain to be demoing FCS at NAB. It would be reasonable to assume that just as FCS 5 made use of Spotlight for organizing and finding video clips, FCS6 will make use of some Leopard specific technology to make the user's life simpler.

I mean, we already have Universal Binaries. Apple needs something compelling to justify the upgrade. These are smart people here.

Yep leopard release with secret features at NAB which gives developers a couple of months to play with them before leopard is finally released at WWDC..

Will be interesting to see how they put the features to use with FCP6
