Hi,

I suppose that many of you are running Darwin under VMware, and the default 1024x768 screen resolution isn't very comfortable when working in windowed mode. You can change Darwin's console screen resolution by editing the file /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist.

You can set a Graphics Mode key with the desired string value (see http://www.opendarwi...res_darwin_x86/). If you want to see the cool Apple boot logo you can simply empty the Kernel Flags key by removing the default -v string.

Regards
