Synaesthesia
Hey everybody, I wonder if anyone can help me. Maybe someone smart like Rammjet or Macgirl I want to buy a Wireless card for my Hackintosh, it's a PCI one, based on the Ralink RT61/RT2500/RT2501 chipset, a Gigabyte AircruiserG 54Mbps WP01GS. I really don't know whether it will work, maybe I would be safer going with a USB option or a Broadcom or Atheros based card. The Wiki says that it works fine (not much detail given), but then this post by Macgirl made me unsure, and this thread. It would seem Ralink drivers only work for USB, but then in this thread it is mentioned to work (page 3), and some other PCI cards based on Ralink drivers have worked. What do you guys say? Am I being paranoid? Does anyone have this card? Any help would be much much appreciated! - Synaesthesia Edited March 2, 2007 by Synaesthesia
