hfs_swap_btnode issue on native boot

Hello all,

I installed Bender's release on my laptop through VMWare (I couldn't get the DVD to boot natively because of the "Still waiting for root device" error). The installation had no errors, but when I tried to reboot natively, I got this error:

hfs_swap_btnode: invalid record count

hfs_swap_btnode: invalid record offset

I'm running this on an Acer Aspire 5002WLMI Laptop, with an SIS motherboard and Toshiba Hard Drive, partitioned as one large HFS+ partition. The processor is an AMD Turion ML-30 64-bit processor, SSE2 and SSE3 capable.

The BIOS doesn't look like I can disable any hardware.

I would try to boot it through VMWare in XP again, but during the OS X install, I wiped the hard drive, so when I rebooted, I didn't have Windows anymore. This was my intention, but now I can't bbot in to troubleshoot. Does anyone know how I can fix this? does anyone know of a Live-CD in which I can boot the hard drive using VMWare?

Thanks in advance,

GuyFromCanada
