39thRonin
Is anyone working on testing this for Hackintoshes? I see some things I'd like to fix and/or test, but don't want to hose my nicely working install!

Adrian Fogge
Well, was not expecting something that fast. Changed the title to reflect that it has been leaked.

joe75
Two questions. Has anyone using the AppleHDA Patcher lost sound with 8.9 kernel. Can I just get the kernel and swap like 8.8 or does it still need to be compiled before install
mifki
hmm, if u lost sound, im guessing its because alcinject needs to be compiled for newer kernel, just a wild guess though

projectle
Help save my Oink account and download 10.4.9. If you do so, I will ensure you that you will get access to the latest and greatest that Apple has to offer faster than anyone else can get them to you! If in 48 hours people do not download 1GB from me, then I will not be able to get the newest stuff to you.

Ampidire
Jeez... The lengths that some people go to to keep stealing stuff. I blame Oink for their ridiculous user requirements. No other invite torrent page I know of is like this.
Paranoid Marvin
I'm guessing they are trying to make it 'really good'. It will be the last Tiger release, so why not? I get the feeling they will release it either with Leopard or just before, much like 10.3.9 I'm glad they are taking a while and releasing many builds, at least that way we know it is a good one and not a chucked together bug fix Here's for a good 10.4.9 Any PowerPC build leaks on public sites?
