Guest Ramm
I don't get the point of it really - it just makes the photos look worse for me, after doing the adjustments (even though the photo itself may look good, it gets all choppy and pixelated). Fusion9
I got the beta version, was a nice program. I liked photoshop better, had more features etc.
Ictinike
I love Lightroom to be honest. It's affordable compared to Ps. It does what I need it to do, for the most part, and if I need aything extra done it works well in sync with Ps.
iamKiam
Is this basically Adobe's answer to Aperture? I have the trial version of Aperture, and it's a bit difficult for me to get around. Lightroom looks much more user friendly. Any tips or tricks?
IanSeattle
I have Adobe Lightroom 1.0. It's very amazing software, great for quick edits, or advanced. It doesn't destroy your images or add noise. It's great, worth the money too.
iRed
Last night I installed for the first time Lightroom on OS X. I was compering whole night Lightroom 1.0 and Aperture 1.5.3 in my own film company on EIZO ColorEdge CE240W 1920x1080res.I realized that all monitors under 22" are small for pro using. At the end of the day i figured up that Lightroom is simpler and quicker then Aperture.I think that Aperture has little more options then lightroom. But I will still use Aperture because i like Aperture's interface much better then Lightroom's. The Quallity of the compression are same.
Kevin Sherman
I have been running Adobe Lightroom since it came out, and I really really like it. I have not used Aperture very much, but I got into Lightroom because I had a PC, and now that I have a MacBook Pro, I like it even more. It has a really nice interface and really works very well for me. You really have to try them and see what you like, but Lightroom did it for me! And it was only $99 at the Education Store.
