KBS7566 Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 I HAVE A NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 video card i am running an old jas 10.4.6 install that was updated to 10.4.8 through his 2 updates. the kernel is still Darwin 8.4.1 though. can anyone explain to me how i upgrade that to 8.8.1???? or how to make the new jas install disk i have work. i installed the latest one and all seemed to work but i couldnt connect to internet and the video card patch didnt automatically work. can someone please help me figure out how to do it one of these ways please all help will be greatly appreciated. i tried searching some reason couldnt find. can u please please help me. thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

KBS7566 Posted February 19, 2007 Author Share Posted February 19, 2007 any suggestions for new 10.4.8 dvd i tried both JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3 JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Integrated.JaS 10.4.8 AMD Intel SSE2 SSE3.Defiant diskutil fix.Integrated one refused to let me see about this mac and the other one the built in patch didnt work and when it did work didnt let me connect to internet didnt recognize my built in ethernet. someone please tell me what i did wrong those times or which one i should download?? now or how to get either of these to work. or a detailed way to upgrade a 8.8.1 and user 2 for that one do i have to have anything besides the patch downloaded from there? because when i tried i got a cross through circle after reboot. someone help me i cant figure this out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
