hi all,

im very new to the entire osx86 transition and i absolutely love it. i do have a question about changing out video cards.

right now i have a agp nvidia FX5500 256mb card. i just picked up a x1950pro 256mb agp card.

how do i go about changing out the cards without encounting issues?

right now everything works perfectly fine. quartz and core image are working fully, i can use any res that my monitor supports, etc.

i just want more video power so i can play some games and all that good stuff.

this is the natit im using, Natit_Uni_1.0.pkg

id appreciate the feedback, thanks guys/gals!

I could be wrong in thinking this, but I believe Neo added the device ID's of all the cards to the proper ATI and NVIDIA files, so I would assume that you shouwl be able to swap out the Geforce for the Radeon and be up and running. However, this may not be the case as Natit Uni (i think) has autodetection.... At the ver worse, you should just put your card in, if it doesn't work, reinstall natit and you should be alright.

Note, when I installed my 7800gt, I did a fresh install just to make sure there weren't any issues with old drivers. You may wan to back up your stuff and do the same, it may be easier in the long run..

Good luck.
